Affiliate program terms

Eligibility and enrolment

Any Figgshield account holder can enrol as an affiliate from the app; enrolment is free and there is no audience minimum or approval queue. You must give accurate information, keep your account secure, and comply with these terms and all applicable laws. We may decline or revoke enrolment at our discretion.

Commission

You earn a commission of 20% of the amounts actually paid to Figgshield by customers you refer who become paying subscribers, net of taxes, refunds, chargebacks and discounts. Commission is earned on each qualifying payment for as long as the referred customer remains a paying subscriber. No commission is earned on your own account, on unpaid or trial periods, or on amounts that are later refunded or reversed.

View rewards

In addition to commission, we may pay a per-view reward — currently $0.50 per 1,000 qualified views of pages reached through your referral link. A view is qualified only after automated review: bot or automated traffic, views without a verifiable location, your own visits, repeat views by the same visitor on the same day, and patterns consistent with artificial inflation (including many visitors from a single network address) do not qualify. Qualified-view rewards are funded from an aggregate daily program budget across all affiliates (currently $10.00 per day); when the day's qualified views would earn more than the budget, rewards are prorated by view share. Review runs after each day ends, and rewards accrue to your withdrawable balance only once review completes. We may change, pause or end the per-view reward, its rate or its budget at any time. Artificially generated, automated or incentivised views void the related rewards and may result in termination from the program.

Attribution and lapse

Attribution is first-touch and one-time. A customer is attributed to the affiliate whose referral link they first used before signing up, recorded via a referral cookie and captured at account creation; this attribution does not change afterwards, and a customer can be attributed to only one affiliate. If a referred customer cancels, drops to no paid plan, or otherwise lapses, commission on that customer stops permanently. It does not resume — and no new commission is earned — if that same person later resubscribes, whether through your link or any other. There is no re-attribution.

Your referral link

On enrolment you receive a unique referral link containing a default referral code. You may edit this to a custom code of your choice, subject to availability and to our right to reject or reclaim codes that are misleading, infringing, offensive, or that impersonate Figgshield or others. You are responsible for how and where you share your link.

Balance and withdrawals

Commissions accrue to your affiliate account as a withdrawable balance once the underlying payment has cleared and any refund window has passed. The minimum withdrawal is $50.00; balances below this carry forward until they reach the minimum. Commission amounts are calculated and paid in US dollars.

Payouts

Payouts are made through Stripe Connect as transfers from Figgshield's Stripe account to your connected Stripe account, and are considered and processed on a monthly basis for balances that have reached the minimum. You must complete Stripe Connect onboarding before any payout can be made; until then, commissions accrue as pending. Payout identity and banking information is collected and handled by Stripe under its own terms.

Taxes

You are solely responsible for any taxes, duties or levies arising from commissions you earn, and for any registration, reporting or filing obligations that apply to you. Commission amounts are stated exclusive of any such taxes. Where we are required by law to withhold or report, we may do so and may ask you for the information needed to comply.

Prohibited conduct

You must not refer your own account or accounts you control (self-referral), generate referrals through fraud, bots, or incentivised or fake sign-ups, or promote Figgshield in a deceptive, misleading or spammy way — including trademark bidding that impersonates us, false claims about the service, or unsolicited bulk messaging. You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship where the law requires it. Breaking these rules is grounds for termination and forfeiture of unpaid commissions, and we may reverse or reclaim commissions arising from prohibited activity.

Modification and termination

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the affiliate program, or change commission rates and these terms, at any time. Material changes take effect going forward and, where they affect active affiliates, we aim to give reasonable notice by email or in the app. You may leave the program at any time. On termination for cause, unpaid commissions may be forfeited; otherwise any balance at or above the minimum is paid out on the next monthly run.

Governing terms and contact

These terms supplement, and are governed by, the Figgshield Terms of Service, which also set out the governing law and liability limits that apply. If any provision here conflicts with the Terms of Service on an affiliate matter, these terms prevail. Questions about the program can be sent to affiliate@figgshield.ai.
