What Cascade can do once it is connected

Windsurf's agent, Cascade, gains two tools. One generates stills with Nano Banana 2, Google's current image model. The other generates video with Kling 3, and there is a faster Kling 3 Turbo tier when you want a result sooner.

You ask in the same plain language you already use with Cascade, for example generate a 2K og:image for the pricing page, flat indigo background, a single credit coin in the center. The image comes back in the conversation ready to save into your project.

Images return in the same call. Video takes longer, so the job is queued and Cascade polls it until the clip is ready.

Connect it to Windsurf

Figgshield runs as a remote MCP server, so there is nothing to install locally.

1. Open Cascade's MCP settings in Windsurf, or edit ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json directly.
2. Add a server with "serverUrl": "https://api.figgshield.ai/mcp" under mcpServers, then reload the server list.
3. Sign in with Google when the browser opens and pick a plan. The $5 seven-day trial is the quickest way in.
4. Ask Cascade to make something and watch the tool call run.

A worked example: the og:image for a feature you are shipping

Say you are finishing a feature branch and the PR needs a social preview. Instead of opening a design tool, tell Cascade: generate a 1K og:image, dark slate background, the words Ship faster in white, a subtle grid. Nano Banana 2 returns the still in the chat.

If the text is off, you correct it the way you would correct code. Make the heading larger, move it up, warmer accent. Cascade rewrites the prompt and regenerates.

When it looks right, ask Cascade to save it to public/og/feature.png and reference it in your meta tags. The asset never left the editor.

Turn a still into a short clip

Every image you generate has an id. Pass that id to the video tool and Kling animates the still instead of starting from scratch. This is the image-to-video path.

It is handy for a landing hero that needs a little motion. Generate the key frame first, get it approved, then animate the exact frame you already like rather than gambling on a fresh render.

A five-second clip is 35 credits, whether you start from an image or from text.

Credits, priced at cost

One credit balance covers both models. A Nano Banana 2 image is 8 credits at 1K or 2K and 16 at 4K. A five-second Kling clip is 35.

Credits are priced at what the models cost us, with no per-generation markup. The only money Figgshield makes is on credits people never spend, so there is no reason to inflate a single render. The live credit table lists every option.

The trial includes 150 credits. Cancel before day seven and you pay nothing more.

Where your files go, and what is kept

A finished image or clip sits on a private link for seven days so you can download it or have Cascade write it into the repo. After that it is deleted, so treat the seven days as your window to persist anything you want to keep.

A reference image you send into a prompt is used in memory for that generation and never stored.
